![]() ![]() Welcome to our Community
We hope you enjoy your look around our website and please contact us if you feel you would like to talk further about your Emmaus experience. Canberra Monaro Community was established in 1990. It's territory covers the south east corner of NSW and the ACT, stretching from Crookwell and Goulburn and a bit further up and across to Bateman's Bay in the north; to the NSW/Victorian border in the south and down to the Snowy Mountains. The Community hold two sets of Walks each year, at the Greenhills Conference Centre, just out of Canberra. Regular Gatherings are held in Canberra and Country Gatherings are held from time to time in the country centres of Bega, Crookwell and Yass. We are also involved with Kairos Inside at Goulburn Correctional Institution held twice a year along with the journey program fortnightly and Kairos Outside held annually at Greenhills. The Community hosted the 10th National Secretariat Conference, from 19 – 21 March 2004, held at the Australian Centre for Christianity and Culture in Canberra. All Emmaus people are welcome to join us at our regular gatherings held on the second Saturday of the months of February, March, June, August and November. These gatherings are held at Belconnen Baptist Church, Crn Dallachy & MacAdam streets in Page, commencing at 2.00 pm. |
